It twas amazing.

Saw Anamanaguchi live last night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. It was a ridiculously amazing show! The recordings and videos of Anamanaguchi don't quite do justice to the full sound they produce live. The drums and bass came through so much more, and the guitar parts were much more distinguishable. I got a video of their awesome new song "Space Wax America" which i'll post soon hopefully!

The opening bands that played were really good as well. MATH the band was really driving and loud. With their "slow" song being 170 bpm, screaming vocals, and energy almost surpassing that of Anamanaguchi. The crowd went insane for them.

Talk to Animals, the first artist, played in a really interesting style and had really unique vocals, in a shouty high register. The bass for her set was ridiculous, the whole balcony of the music hall was vibrating. This song http://grooveshark.com/s/Wolves/3qh6v6?src=5 was my favorite. Definitely going buy her album http://talktoanimals.bandcamp.com/track/wolves

Mega64 is one of my favorite things ever. These are their best videos. Check them out on YouTube and on Mega64.com

New website. Yeah.
I'm at iD Visual Arts Academy at Vassar College for the summer, and one of the things we do is make an amateur website. So i'm using it for my music and videos and THIS. This blog is going to be a place where I just post music i'm listening to/find, websites I think are cool, videos that are good from youtube, and other things on the web that are enjoyable. For me. I hope they are for you to. Come here if you're bored yo. There'll be cool stuff.
